3M and PFLAG have worked together to create the #ParentsComingOut program. The campaign is designed to give the parents of LGBTQ people a chance to share their perspective in a video and website, this has been made by Minneapolis agency Colle McVoy for nonprofit advocacy group PFLAG. Female Scientists Shine Amid Grand Central’s Constellations

Starting on Tuesday 19th September, the three-day installation, called “Unseen Stars,”, funded by GE,  projected the faces of distinguished female scientists onto the ceiling. Notable lights will include Mildred Dresselhaus, the “queen of carbon,” and the first woman to receive the National Medal of Science in engineering. Dresselhaus died in February.
