The #ItCanWait Don’t Text & Drive message launched earlier this year using a fail video for The Western Cape Government in South Africa was a huge success. The Campaign went viral reaching 83 million views and 780 000 shares from a worldwide audience. FCB Cape Town have worked with The Western Cape Government in South Africa on a follow up ad for it’s Safely Home Campaign, utilising a similar theme and designed to remind us of the distractions that could be forthcoming over the holiday period. H&M issues unequivocal apology for poorly judged product and image

Retailer H&M have come under fire for using an image of black child in a hoodie reading ‘coolest monkey in the jungle’. This has been described as ‘deeply offensive’ and ‘disturbing’ by musicians such as The Weeknd and G-Eazy who had collaborated with the clothing company. The tone deaf image has lead to a number of complaints online. H&M have apologised both on their website and their instagram feed. PHE launches Change4Life campaign around children’s snacking

Public Health England (PHE) is helping parents take control of their children’s snacking by launching the first Change4Life campaign promoting healthier snacks. This is because half of children’s sugar intake, currently around 7 sugar cubes a day, comes from unhealthy snacks and sugary drinks, leading to obesity and dental decay. Prime Minister launches 25 Year Environment Plan

Launching the 25 Year Environment Plan, the PM will set out the government’s determination to leave our environment in a better state than we found it. She will outline steps for a cleaner, greener Britain – with avoidable plastic waste eliminated by the end of 2042.
