Brewster Bros Opens Largest Recycling Plant Of It’s Kind In The UK

Brewster Bros, a family-run business in Livingston, is officially launching the largest recycling plant in the UK. The plant, featuring a CDE state-of-the-art wet processing system, will provide waste management services and recycled aggregates to builders, construction companies, civil contractors, utility contractors and concrete product producers from its new high-tech facility in Scotland’s central belt.  The recycling centre includes £3.8m of investment including high efficiency CDE equipment, with a capacity to recycle 400,000 tonnes of construction, demolition and excavation waste per year. CIPR respond to proposed corporate governance principles

The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) has welcomed new corporate governance principles proposed by the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) in a consultation response published today. The ‘Wates Corporate Governance Principles for Large Private Companies’ seek to restore public trust and confidence by following six principles to inform and develop businesses in reporting corporate governance practices.
