Mental Health UK and Lloyds Banking Group launch a new project to support the mental health of young people as part of their partnership which will continue for an additional year. Christmas Charity Cheer as Scottish Retail Giving Tops £40 million

The Scottish Retail Consortium publishes its third annual report into charitable giving by the sector. The report found Scottish retailers had raised or donated over £14.7 million in 2018 to good causes in Scotland – bringing the cumulative amount raised since the first report was published in 2016 to £41 million. Edinburgh Airport annouces new charity partner

Support worth £100,000 has been donated to Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA), a record sum for one of Edinburgh Airport’s corporate charities. It comes as Edinburgh-based The Yard is announced as the airport’s new corporate charity for 2019. The Yard work with children and young people with additional support needs. The support was donated through a range of activities, including advertising space, a staff runway run and a variety of intern fundraising initiatives.
