PepsiCo Recycling is excited to announce the 27 colleges and universities set to earn funding for campus sustainability initiatives in the 2018-19 school year through the Zero Impact Fund. Among the most unique projects in this year’s winning group include entries from Georgia College & State University, UNC Charlotte, Furman University, Centre College, Otterbein University, and Ohio University. Big Issue Invest commits £400,000 to support people affected by substance misuse in London to enter employment

A charity committed to helping over 1,700 people with a substance misuse background across eight London boroughs has received investment from Big Issue Invest’s (BII) Outcomes Investment Fund. Big Issue Invest, the social investment arm of The Big Issue provided the £400,000 Social Impact Bond (SIB) to WDP in late 2018. WDP is a drug and alcohol charity committed to helping people affected by substance misuse and it delivers multiple services on behalf of local authorities. Cambridge researchers launch charity to tackle ‘slow motion spinal cord injury’ affecting up to a million UK adults

Myelopathy.org, has just launched, it is a charity dedicated to one of the most common, yet under-diagnosed neurological conditions. The charity is the brainchild of Dr Mark Kotter, neurosurgeon and clinician scientist at the University of Cambridge, who works on a disorder known officially as Degenerative Cervical Myelopathy.
