New statistics show demand for dogs skyrockets in the countdown to Christmas

Sainsbury’s runs the ‘Giving Store’: where customers shop for others but leave empty handed

Last week Sainsbury’s ran its ‘Giving Store’, designed specifically for people to browse and shop – then leave empty handed. FareShare has seen the amount of frozen food it redistributes to frontline charities grow by 60% in just one year thanks to a new project funded through WRAP’s Food Waste Reduction Fund and a grant from Islamic Relief.
