Brighton Partners With The American Heart Association’s Life Is Why We Give™ Campaign

Collectible company Brighton is proud to partner in the life-saving efforts of the American Heart Association. For every Wear Red Christo Wide Cuff Bracelet sold in the month of February, they will donate $10 of the purchase price to the American Heart Association. Donations will be sent to local chapters located where we have many Brighton stores.

Heart Disease is the number 1 killer of American women, claiming an estimated 440,000 women’s lives annually – ten times the number who die of Breast Cancer. Cardiovascular Disease And Strokes cause 1 in 3 women’s deaths each year, killing one woman every 80 seconds.

Brighton’s goal is to raise funds that will help pave the way for the next generation of advancements in preventing, treating or even eradicating heart disease and stroke, the No. 1 killer in the world of men and women.

Owner and Founder Jerry Kohl explains Brighton’s commitment, “Since 2004, we have created jewelry to support the campaign, which is aimed at keeping women from developing heart disease, and helping the nearly 1 million Americans already living with heart disease to recover. By supporting breakthroughs in education, research and treatment, we can help them do both!”

The American Heart Association believes that everyone has a reason to live longer and healthier and enjoy more of life’s precious moments. Brighton is doing its part to help their customers find their reasons for giving and helping fund programs in their local community that are saving lives every day.

Owners Jerry and Terri Kohl started Brighton over 40 years ago, and they resolved to have a company that would be run from the heart, focused on treating customers and employees the way they love to be treated and giving back. Brighton has raised over $1 million dollars for the American Heart Association.
