CIPR 2021 PRide Awards winners revealed

Over 200 Gold Awards and over 160 Silver Awards were won as the CIPR PRide Awards returned for 2021. PR practitioners from across the country joined presenters Jason Mohammad and Louise Minchin as they hosted nine ceremonies across two days to celebrate the industry’s outstanding work across Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and across six English regions over the past two years.

This year’s Awards included the new, free-to-enter ‘Best COVID Response’ category, reflecting the outstanding work public relations professionals have demonstrated throughout the pandemic.

Agencies Genesis PR (Anglia, Thames and Chiltern), Cowshed (Cymru Wales), Morrow Communications (Northern Ireland), and in-house team South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust (North East) were the big winners collecting five Gold Awards each. Elsewhere, agencies Stone Junction (Midlands), Smarts Scotland (Scotland), and Grayling Communications (Yorkshire and Lincolnshire) picked up four Gold Awards each with Social Communications (North West) and Liquid PR (South of England and Channel Islands) the big winners in their regions with three and two Gold Awards, respectively.

The winners of the Awards for Outstanding Young Communicator, Independent PR Practitioner, In-house PR Team, Small PR Consultancy, and PR Consultancy of the year are listed below. For a full list of winners please visit the CIPR PRide Awards website.

The PRide Awards showcase the outstanding public relations work from across the country – work, that over the last two years, has demonstrated the importance and value of what we do more than ever.

It has been great to come together to celebrate the creativity and the hard work we have seen on display. All of you who won an award, were recognised for your work, or were shortlisted should take pride in your achievement.

Many congratulations to all the winners. Your work has made a real difference to the organisations, businesses, and communities you serve.
