Mediaplanet Gives Parents a Helping Hand With Their Biannual Childhood Safety Campaign

Mediaplanet announces the distribution of its biannual cross-platform edition of “Childhood Safety,” which aims to address safety issues surrounding children while also empowering parents with the information they need to take preemptive measures against these issues. It will specifically look to address holiday safety concerns, in accordance with the upcoming winter events, as well as year-round issues involving poison, furniture, infant sleep-space, travel and internet use.

The print component of “Childhood Safety” was distributed within USA Today, with a circulation of approximately 250,000 and an estimated readership of 750,000. It will also be available at 2018 parenting expos, such as MommyCon. The digital component is distributed internationally through a vast social media strategy and across a network of top news sites and partner social media platforms. To explore the digital version of the campaign, go to Mediaplanet’s Modern Wellness Guide website.

Baby gear, nursery, and play-space expert Vanessa Antonelli graces the cover of the print publication. She understands that in the home-décor industry, childhood safety should be a number one concern for families with curious babies and tots. Inside and online, Antoneli shares her experience as a baby-space expert, and gives advice on creating a safe, stylish and functional space for parents to enjoy with their children.

This campaign was made possible with the support of American Academy Pediatrics, American Home Furnishings Alliance, Window Covering Safety Council, National Safety Council, American Association of Poison Control Centers, Vanessa Antonelli, LaDonna Maxwell Dennis, MomBlogSociety, Disney’s Circle, IKEA, Cocoon Cam, Hangman Products, Baby Trend, Lille Baby and Dream on Me.
