Mosaic and CFP set to create the UK’s largest full-service charity expertise offering

Mosaic Fulfilment Solutions has boosted its position to become the UK’s most comprehensive charity services offering with the acquisition of an interest in dedicated charity lottery provider CFP Lottery & Raffles, and the creation of a formal partnership between the two firms. The deal follows Mosaic’s 2017 acquisitions of interests in online donation management platform Committed Giving and donation response handling agency Telebank.

Mosaic adds specialist lottery and raffle services to its existing portfolio of end-to-end charity support services, which includes: response handling, payments processing, inbound and outbound contact centre, digital print and mail, ecommerce fulfillment, IT and data, and warehousing services. All of which are supported by state-of-the-art Microsoft technology and can be viewed via Mosaic’s online management and reporting dashboard, giving clients a single view of supporter interaction across all fundraising activities on and offline.

CFP’s proven track record in lottery and raffle services remains at the forefront of its focus for the future. Its current portfolio of services including; product strategy and development, campaign management services including design and print sourcing, online weekly lottery and raffle solutions, subscription raffles and bespoke lottery processing solutions will continue to be instrumental in providing a first-class end to end solution for its charity partners.

The synergy between Mosaic and CFP will strengthen their focus on growth and development. CFP is committed to bringing together the blend of an External Lottery Manager with strategic agency services in creating a unique offering to support future growth for the charity sector.

Mosaic’s managing director Duncan Marrison, led the deal in which Mosaic made the cash purchase of an interest in CFP on 11 June 2019, without any external investment. The deal means Mosaic can now provide a complete end-to-end service delivery solution for the not-for-profit sector like no other, delivering significant benefits for its clients, which include WaterAid, Cats Protection and Macmillan.

Duncan Marrison, Mosaic Fulfilment Solutions’ managing director, says:

“This new formal partnership with CFP means Mosaic can now offer our charity customers dedicated raffle and lottery expertise that they can combine with our existing state-of-the-art technology and processes.

“It provides the significant advantages of a single, end-to-end supplier solution with best-of-breed component parts that can be provided as stand-alone services or seamlessly integrated through a one source solution. It enables us to offer more comprehensive services to our clients for a fuller strategic approach to their communications and fundraising.”

Jason Haigh-Ellery, Chairman of CFP, states:

“One hundred percent of CFP’s business is in the charity and not-for-profit sector and we are proud of our proven track record.  Our forty-year commitment to the sector will continue to focus on providing a single source solution to our charity partners. We are delighted to be working in partnership with Mosaic in what will be our 40th year of service to the sector, and we are confident the partnership will strengthen our vision in providing a comprehensive first-class service to our clients.
