Tesco brings £300k Blue Monday cheer for community groups nationwide

Tesco tried to banish Blue Monday, traditionally known as the gloomiest day of the year, by launching a campaign to give 60 charities and community projects a £300,000 boost. From Monday 17 January to Sunday 6 February, listeners of Heart and Smooth radio stations across the UK who work with charities or not for profit organisations will be encouraged to apply for a £5,000 cash grant.
