New fundraising code published

The newly improved Code of Fundraising Practice has just been published by the Fundraising Regulator, and will come into effect in October 2019. The changes are designed to make it easier for fundraisers, charities and third-party organisations to understand the standards expected of them when fundraising. A consultation on the accessibility of the fundraising code is now open. It aims to ensure the code is a straightforward and practical tool for fundraisers and the public. The consultation looks at the style, presentation, clarity and accessibility of the code.
