Thousands of dogs and cats across the UK have been enjoying nutritious meals at no cost to their owners, through a programme set up by leading animal charities and the UK’s biggest food waste charity. The Pet Food Partnership, comprising Battersea, Cats Protection, Dogs Trust, RSPCA and FareShare, and supported by Petplan, recently passed the significant milestone of one million meals provided to dogs and cats in England, Scotland and Wales. UK veterinary charity to commence largest ever canine rabies vaccination drive in Cambodia

On 22nd May Mission Rabies, a project of the international charity WVS which has recently merged with Dogs Trust, will commence a mass vaccination drive in Cambodia’s capital Phnom Penh. Mission Rabies aims to vaccinate 100,000 dogs against rabies in just ten days, making this Cambodia’s largest canine rabies vaccination project to date. Rabies kills approximately 59,000 people globally every year and Cambodia has one of the highest rabies death rates per capita of any country in the world. Dogs Trust launches its own debit card to boost donations as cost of living crisis piles pressure on animal shelters

Dogs Trust, one of the UK’s largest animal welfare charities, has launched a debit card in partnership with Currensea, enabling members to make charitable donations each time they spend at home or abroad, helping raise vital funds for the charity to help dogs in need. Dogs Trust launches campaign to highlight growing dog theft problem

Dogs Trust, the UK’s largest dog welfare charity, has launched ‘Family Pawtraits’, a campaign to bring awareness to the growing problem of dog theft in the UK, as reported incidents rise to over 2000 each year. The charity is campaigning for stronger sentencing for the crime, and encouraging owners to take measures to prevent their pet being stolen.
