Dunelm partners with Macmillan Cancer Support to raise cups and funds

Dunelm, the UK’s leading homewares retailer, and Macmillan Cancer Support have announced a two-year fundraising partnership. There are currently 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK, and this is set to grow to almost 4 million by 2030. Over the next two years Dunelm hopes to raise £1 million for Macmillan, which could fund 18 Macmillan professionals for one year. Macmillan Cancer Support is pleased to announce the appointment of Claire Rowney as Executive Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications, joining in February 2019. Medical charities collaborate to ensure research results are shared

23 members of the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) are working in collaboration to develop and launch a joint publication platform, AMRC Open Research.  By removing traditional barriers and delays to publication, the new platform will help the charities maximise the value of the donations they receive by making it possible for every output from the research they fund to be rapidly and openly shared.
