Amnesty x Moomin: New collection to mark 60 years of defending human rights

In celebration of its 60th anniversary, Amnesty International has teamed up with Moomin Characters Ltd to launch a brand-new limited range of products.   Using original illustrations drawn by Moomins creator and long-time Amnesty supporter Tove Jansson, the collection features canvas bags, beanies, water bottles, matchsticks, candles, sweaters and t-shirts, with 10% of all proceeds going towards Amnesty’s global human rights work.   What better way to celebrate the Moomin spirit and the hope of Amnesty’s mission than to light a candle? Oxfam & the Moomins launch Campaign to empower women and girls

The world’s favourite fictional Finnish family, The Moomins, represented by Moomin Characters Ltd, and Oxfam have today announced a new partnership to help women and girls around the world fight inequality and escape poverty for good. The partnership centres around The Invisible Child, a short story by Moomin creator Tove Jansson, which will be available to buy from Waterstones, the Moomin Shop Covent Garden and Oxfam shops, with at least £4 from each sale being donated to Oxfam’s women’s projects worldwide.
