Getting 60 minutes of physical activity a day through moderate-to-vigorous and bone strengthening exercise is what is recommended for school-aged kids according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ 2018 Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans. American Cancer Society and National Football League Award $3.2 Million in New Grants to Help Reduce Breast Cancer Disparities

The American Cancer Society (ACS) and National Football League (NFL) have awarded $3.2 million in grant funding to 32 health systems to address disparities in breast cancer mortality that exist among women of color. Funding for these grants is made possible through ACS’s partnership with the NFL and the league’s Crucial Catch campaign.
