Bath Spa University is today announcing the launch of a new returnable cup scheme in five outlets across three of their campuses in an effort to help tackle the 55,000 single-use coffee cups currently served up to students and staff. Nescafé launches new refill pouch that uses less packaging and costs you less

Nescafé has introduced the first instant coffee refill pouch for Nescafé Gold Blend and Nescafé Original that can be recycled in stores and helps save money while reducing packaging.  The new 150g refill pouch is 97 percent lighter than the 200g glass coffee jar and has on average 60 percent less plastic than the jar’s lid.  The pack is resealable to help preserve freshness and once the refill is empty consumers can recycle the pack in more than 5000 stores across the UK and through kerbside collection in Ireland.  Not…

Asda revamps refill proposition and guarantees cheaper prices

Asda has announced a new ‘refill price promise’ which guarantees that each refill product will be cheaper than packaged alternatives as part of its new refill proposition. The supermarket first introduced refill two years ago and has been continually testing and learning, working with customers to find what most appeals to them.
