Yeo Valley goes bananas for FareShare with limited edition Banoffee yogurt

Yeo Valley is once again supporting FareShare, releasing their seventh yogurt made with leftover fruit that might otherwise have gone to waste. Their Left-Yeover banoffee yogurt will be found in Tesco stores until the end of November, and 10p from every pot will be donated to FareShare.

So far the Left-Yeovers promotion has raised £45,000 for FareShare, money which the charity uses to get good quality, in date surplus food to charities and community groups across the UK, such as children’s breakfast clubs, homeless hostels and hospices. The Left-Yeovers yogurts also draw attention to the problem of food waste.

Lindsay Cape, FareShare’s Head of Fundraising, said: “We are enormously grateful for Yeo Valley’s ongoing support. Thanks to them we’ve been able to create an incredible 180,000 meals for the most vulnerable people in our communities.”
