Unilever and ISS join ILO’s Global Business and Disability Network

Unilever is the latest enterprise to join the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Global Business and Disability Network  (GBDN). The move follows that of ISS – the Danish facility management services company – which joined the network in March 2022. Thirty-three multinational enterprises are now part of GBDN, which provides peer-to-peer support and exchanges on good corporate disability inclusion practices, worldwide. Charities give rural farmers ownership of tea factory

A ceremony, which was attended by the Prime Minister of Rwanda, the Right Honorable Édouard Ngirente, was held at Mulindi Tea Factory in Gicumbi, Rwanda, whereby shares in the Mulindi Tea Factory were signed over by The Wood Foundation Africa and Gatsby Africa, the philanthropic investors who had acquired the company when it was privatized by the Government of Rwanda in 2012.
