Policies, plan and implementation

Sustainability and health
The city is working to improve citizen health through the construction of health centres and relevant infrastructure. In addition, the municipality has worked with the OMAÏS Foundation to try and reduce the incidence of pregnancy amongst school-aged children through the establishment of a boarding school.
Equity and inclusion
Gagnoa’s municipal policy promotes the principle of living together for development. Subsidies are provided to associations for women and youth, irrespective of ethnicity or religion. The mayor encourages equitable access to socio-economic activities for all citizens.
Decent work and entrepreneurship
Socio-economic integration is a priority for the Gagnoa municipal council, despite a limited budget. Partnerships with various organizations have enabled the municipality to acquire heavy machinery for vocational training, and to build a modern high school.
