About this event

Dementia Carers’ Rights: Your rights and Self-Directed Support - self-study module

A self-study module for unpaid carers of people with dementia.

Self-directed support aims to give people more choice and flexibility in how care and support is arranged. This workshop will provide an introduction to self-directed support, enabling participants to learn more about what this is, what this can mean for carers and how to access it.

This self-study training is free.

Once you have signed up, the Dementia Training Team are notified via email. Upon receiving this they will set up an account for you on the learning platform, Moodle. You can expect an email with general instructions, including your username and password, to arrive in the following days. You will have access to course contents for two months from your starting date.

Please note: Sign-ups are only processed between 9am and 5pm Monday-Friday. You only need to sign up once and should not be concerned if you don't receive your instructions right away. If you have not received your email in over a week, please contact the team using the email below.
