Dementia Carers’ Rights: an introduction to the Carers (Scotland) Act

A self-study module for unpaid carers of people with dementia. This module will provide an introduction to the Carers (Scotland) Act and what this means for carers, with a particular focus on the Adult Carer Support Plan. Learn more about what your rights are as a carer and how to access these.

This training is free.

Once you have signed up, the Dementia Training Team are notified via email. Upon receiving this they will set up an account for you on the learning platform, Moodle. You can expect an email with general instructions, including your username and password, to arrive in the following days. You will have access to course contents for two months from your starting date.

Please note: Sign-ups are only processed between 9am and 5pm Monday-Friday. You only need to sign up once and should not be concerned if you don't receive your instructions right away. If you have not received your email in over a week, please contact the team using the email below.
