UNESCO launches survey to collect key findings on COVID-19 impact on youth and adult literacy

UNESCO has launched a global survey entitled, “Learning from the COVID-19 crisis to write the future: National policies and programmes for youth and adult literacy”. The survey is addressed to all the 193 UNESCO Member States and serves to fill in the gap and collect information on the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on youth and adult literacy. Fundraising Regulator’s Annual Report reveals highest levy payment rate to date as regulator supports fundraisers to navigate COVID-19

The Fundraising Regulator has published its latest annual report and accounts, which reveals a 98% payment rate of the voluntary Fundraising Levy over the past year – the highest rate to date – as charities continue to commit to voluntary regulation.  During the reporting period, which covers 1 September 2020 to 31 August 2021, 1,974 eligible fundraising organisations contributed a total of £2.17 million to the levy, which funds the UK’s model of voluntary fundraising regulation.
