UNESCO wants to bridge the gender gap in the digital space

Only 17% of biographies published on Wikipedia are about women. UNESCO aims to increase the visibility of women in the digital space by organizing a global call for contribution, the “Edit-a-thon”, on International Women’s Day, 8 March. UNESCO calls for fairer media coverage of sportswomen

As millions around the world tune into the Pyeongchang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Games, World Radio Day (WRD), celebrated on 13 February 2018, was dedicated to the theme of “Radio and Sports”. Endangered Sumatran Tigers On Path To Recovery in UNESCO World Heritage Site

A new scientific publication from WCS (Wildlife Conservation Society) and the Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park Authority looks at the effectiveness of the park’s protection zone and finds that the density of Sumatran tigers has increased despite the continued threat of living in an ‘In Danger’ World Heritage Site.
