Property was as described in the listing with comfortable furniture and a fab big bed. The host was helpful and checking in and out with the keypad was a breeze.”

“...The Roundhouse is really a gorgeous place to stay! It has a great location in a beautiful village - there are houses built around it but the blinds and curtains provide adequate privacy. Check in was super easy. A few things to note would be that there is no TV and no downstairs sink; there' a low-key kitchen but dishes have to be done upstairs. For a short term I felt like these things didn't matter too much and are part of the sacrifice of staying in such a distinctive property. Patrick & Laura were both really easy to contact, and provided extra firewood very quickly when one of the days was particularly cold which was much appreciated! The bed was large and very comfortable, and all areas including bathroom and kitchenette were very clean. I had a wonderful time enjoying this beautiful home and relaxing in front of the fireplace, and I would not hesitate to recommend this property”

“...We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the roundhouse, and we were well looked after by Laura and Patrick The roundhouse is such a sweet getaway, and it is utterly beautiful, wonderfully presented, and I loved the extra touches such as the delicious bread and locally made apple juice Whilst the roundhouse doesn't have a kitchen, it still has everything you need, such as kettle, coffee maker, microwave, and more. Washing up is done upstairs in the beautiful and big bathroom sink, but to be honest, this was just part of the fun. It's a renovated windmill. It's rustic, cute, cosy, and fun, and the ceilings are just amazing! As is the bed, it's HUGE and one of the most comfy beds I have slept in. The bed linen is pristine. I noticed below in another review that there was a complaint about the shower. This must have been fixed because the shower was perfect. I also noticed on another previous review about how close the roundhouse is to 4 other properties, don't let this put you off!!”

“...5pm check in.entrance poorly lit and difficult to see keypad. Property was rather bare considering it was Christmas. Log burner stocked but no means to light it. Smell of damp throughout property. Suitable if you want a single overnight stay, but impractical for 3 nights. Such limited kitchen facilities. Shower very poor, no pressure and dribbled out. Only ended up staying one night.”
