700 sports clubs commit to prioritising mental health
A network of Highland walking groups has become the 700th signatory to Scotland’s Mental Health Charter for Physical Activity and Sport
We often feel better when we’re being active – and any kind of activity can help boost our mood, from organised sports to dancing round the kitchen.
So with the help of our Ambassador, Sir Chris Hoy, we are promoting tips about how we can move more to support our mental health and wellbeing and find what feels good.
Throughout the week, we will also share insights about the work we do in physical activity and sport communities, and stories from the people we support about how moving more is helping them to live well.
