Spy Hop is a nonprofit digital media arts center offering free classes in film, music, audio, and design for students ages 12-19.
We provide classes at our center in Salt Lake City, as well as satellite locations and schools across Utah.
Join us for Watch This!: a FREE student film showcase and Q&A. May 15th from 4 – 6pm at the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art!
5 students. 5 short films. One event with overarching themes of nostalgia, memories, growing up, the future, & present. Show up for youth voice, and Watch This!
Spy Hop presents… Queer Prom! This event is for any queer or allied youth ages 14 – 19! (bring your friends! bring a date! or attend solo!)
Join us on the Spy Hop Rooftop on Friday, May 17th, from 6:30 – 9:30pm. There will be music, crafts, dancing, photos, snacks, and fun!
Throw on whatever fit makes you feel best, grab your besties, and spend an evening immersed in community! ✨ You do not have to be a Spy Hop student to attend this event.

Our spring apprentices are ready to share all their semester’s work with you! They’ve created a ton of neat projects for different clients, so come see what they’ve been up to!
There will be a presentation from each apprenticeship and some of our Loud & Clear Youth Radio students, plus listening & watching stations to peruse their work.
Also, we’ll have tacos — bring a friend!
Our campus is open to all teens. The Spy Hop Rooftop event space is available to rent for all types of events.
