London, we need you.

When patients are seriously injured and there is no time to reach hospital, our medics give life-saving treatment at the scene. But time is running out. Our helicopters need replacing this year at a cost of £15 million.

We only have six months left to raise the money. You can help us continue to save lives in London but we need help before it is too late.

As a charity we can’t do it without your support. Donate now to fund your new fleet.

Events and fundraising

Whether you want to run, cycle, abseil or take part in another personal challenge to raise money, we would love for you to get involved and help us treat an average of five patients every day.

Abseil

Helipad Abseil 2024

We need a team of fearless fundraisers to launch themselves from the highest rooftop helipad in Europe. Join the London's Air Ambulance Charity abseil team and descend The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel from 17 floors up. The free hang aspect (no body contact with the wall!) only adds to the sense of exhilaration as you experience the East London skyline from a whole new angle.

RideLondon - Essex 100 2024

RideLondon-Essex 100 is a unique opportunity to ride 100 miles on traffic-free roads through the heart of London and neighbouring Essex. It will start and finish in the centre of the capital, with 60 miles of rolling roads through some of Essex's most beautiful countryside and villages in between.

Thames Path Challenge 2024

Walk, jog or run the Thames Path Challenge, following England’s greatest river. The full Thames Path Challenge 100km route heads from Putney Bridge past Hampton Court to Runnymede of Magna Carta fame at 50km, then on past wonderful historic scenery all the way to Henley. With half and quarter distance options – there's a challenge for everyone.

London to Brighton Cycle

The London to Brighton Cycle ride is the UK's largest multi-charity cycle event. Starting in London and finishing on the scenic Brighton Seafront, this 55 mile cycle ride is perfect for solo cyclists, groups and all levels of riders!

To us, the team at London’s Air Ambulance are absolute heroes. My son wouldn’t be alive today if it wasn’t for this life-saving charity…

Who we are

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most critically injured patients. Using a helicopter from 08:00 to sunset and rapid response cars at night or in adverse weather situations, London’s Air Ambulance brings the hospital to the patient when time is critical.
