Future Energy Outlook (FEO), a highly granular energy transition planning tool, shows that investing an additional $1.7 trillion on transmission infrastructure by 2040 would collectively cut electricity decarbonisation costs by $3 trillion globally. Carbon cutting fuel use grows at Heathrow, while Government continues to stall on securing aviation’s greener future

Airlines at Heathrow are anticipated to use record amounts of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) next year as the airport extends its carbon cutting scheme for a third year. In 2024, £71m will be available to airlines through the incentive, targeting up to 2.5% of aviation fuel used at Heathrow to be SAF and if achieved, amounting to 155,000 tonnes of aviation fuel. Danone and the Global Methane Hub join forces together to accelerate innovation in methane reduction

The Global Methane Hub (GMH) and Danone announce a new partnership to reduce methane emissions and drive scalable solutions in farming. City Corporation on track to hit net zero by 2027

A new City of London Corporation report has revealed the organisation has slashed its net carbon emissions by 66% since 2018/19, leaving it on track to hit its key target to reach net-zero in its own operations by 2027.
