TV chef and WaterAid ambassador Nadiya Hussain MBE last month launched the international charity’s ‘Where there’s water’ winter appeal, helping raise vital funds to turn on the taps in communities in Malawi and around the world and build a brighter future. Over half of holiday makers (53%) will throw away their inflatable this year according to a new survey conducted on behalf of Thomas Cook. Hungry and hairy Hungarian hogs help save UK’s most endangered butterfly

Conservationists racing to save the UK’s most endangered butterfly have recruited the help of some unique volunteers: hairy Hungarian hogs. Butterfly Conservation is working with the National Trust using curly-haired Mangalitsa pigs at one of the charity’s sites on Exmoor to create perfect habitat for the High Brown Fritillary.
