Octopus Energy Group’s generation business, one of Europe’s largest investors in renewable energy, has worked with Nest to take a stake in the Hornsea One Wind Farm, the world’s largest operational offshore wind farm, making a positive impact with UK pension savers’ money. Octopus Energy to rapidly repower up to 1,000 existing wind turbines in the UK through EWT partnership

Octopus Energy Generation, one of Europe’s largest investors in renewable energy, is partnering with turbine manufacturer EWT on ambitious plans to repower up to 1,000 existing onshore wind turbines in the UK to help boost energy security. The older wind turbines Octopus and EWT identified are located across England, Scotland and Wales, and have already been powering communities for years. Arsenal FC are delighted to announce the installation of a ground-breaking battery storage system (BSS) that will store enough energy – provided by official renewable energy partner Octopus Energy – to run Emirates Stadium for an entire match.
