World’s largest semiconductor foundry joins RE100 and calls on peers to step up on renewable energy

One of Taiwan’s biggest companies, TSMC, is committing to source 100% renewable electricity globally as part of RE100, and urging peers across the electronics industry to follow suit. Virgin Media has signed up to The Climate Group’s RE100 initiative, joining a group of leading businesses committed to increasing the generation and consumption of renewable electricity across the UK and around the world. Manufacturing giant 3M commits to 100% renewable power for global operations

Manufacturing and technology giant 3M has become the latest company to join RE100, the global leadership initiative bringing together companies committed to 100% renewable power, led by The Climate Group in partnership with CDP. Major corporates ready to do more on climate action and call for easier access to renewable energy

Almost 100 organisations led by major corporates today signalled their willingness to do more on climate action calling on European governments to make it easier to invest and directly source renewable energy.  The group signed this declaration at the RE-Source 2018 event in Amsterdam.
