The John Lewis Foundation launches partnership with WaterAid to empower artisan communities in India with clean water

WaterAid has launched a three-year partnership with the John Lewis Foundation, which will help empower communities in Sant Ravi Das Nagar (Bhadohi), India, where John Lewis & Partners carpets are made, by bringing clean water and sanitation to their communities. This Lent, WaterAid is inviting church congregations to give up their favourite treats and donate the money they save to WaterAid’s Jars of Change appeal, helping to bring the gift of clean water to children living in some of the world’s poorest communities.
