Cheil Worldwide’s HOPE TAPE sends faces of missing children to our doorsteps through 620 thousand delivery boxes

On International Missing Children’s Day (May 25), Cheil Worldwide and Korean National Police Agency (KNPA) announced the launch of HOPE TAPE campaign to help find long-term missing children. Fairtrade adds new certification requirement for cocoa and coffee to boost farmer incomes

In a move to deepen benefits for farmers, Fairtrade International has announced a new requirement for cooperatives and traders applying for cocoa or coffee certification. The requirement, which takes effect 1 June 2020, obligates cooperative and trader applicants to have commitments in place for new Fairtrade sales volumes in order to be eligible for certification. The commitments must be confirmed by the end buyer, whose products bear the FAIRTRADE Mark, and validated by the respective national Fairtrade organization. Half of UK women face increased challenges to manage periods under lockdown, says new WaterAid survey

More than half of menstruating women (55%) in the UK have experienced increased challenges managing their periods under lockdown while one in seven (14%) have felt more anxious than normal about their periods, according to a new survey by WaterAid. Ahead of Menstrual Hygiene Day (28 May), the international charity asked 755 British women aged 18 to 55 how the nationwide-lockdown has affected their ability to manage menstruation. Second phase of charity’s Covid-19 Financial Hardship Funding launched

Help Musicians’ second wave of hardship support will help those ineligible for government emergency safety nets or unable to survive on what they receive.  Help Musicians has announced that it will open applications for its new financial hardship fund next week. The latest support initiative from the charity is targeted at self-employed musicians who do not qualify for Self-Employment Income Support Scheme and other unemployed musicians who are experiencing significant financial hardship.
