Simon Community Scotland, an award-winning charity that helps people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Central Scotland has received £5m of social investment from Social and Sustainable Capital (SASC), from its Social and Sustainable Housing fund (SASH) to purchase homes to help vulnerable people move away from homelessness. News Corp UK donates £100k to Environmental charities

Trees for Cities and the Marine Conservation Society have both won a £50,000 grant from the News Corp Giving scheme.  Staff across News UK, HarperCollins and Dow Jones nominated environmental causes for the News Corp Giving charity fund, with two charities winning grants on the back of their project proposals which will form part of a year-long partnership with News UK, Dow Jones and HarperCollins.
