PACAC misses opportunity to improve lobbying, says PRCA

The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) – the professional body that represents the lobbying industry – is disappointed that proposals issued by the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee (PACAC), won’t deliver transparency to members of the public, while adding to requirements placed on, and only on, consultant lobbyists. The Boy Scouts of America have announced that it will rebrand to Scouting America, reflecting the organization’s ongoing commitment to welcome every youth and family in America to experience the benefits of Scouting. No shrinking violets! Conservation charity aims to create purple patch with mass planting of 20,000 violets to satisfy particular tastes of rare butterfly

Across the Shropshire Hills this spring, the National Trust and many dedicated volunteers will start the mass planting of 20,000 marsh violets, the largest planting of its kind in the UK. These delicate little plants are the favourite food of caterpillars of small pearl-bordered fritillary butterflies, and by planting more, it’s hoped to attract many more of these rare butterflies.
