The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), the foremost organization for students interested in public relations and communications, announced its 2026–2027 International Committee. Teo Ignacio Landoni from the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE) was elected as International President. Landoni, along with eight other members, was elected during PRSSA’s 2026 Leadership Assembly, hosted in New Orleans, La.
“Welcoming this new group of student leaders to PRSSA’s International Committee is about more than connection. It’s about shaping the future of our profession. PRSSA plays a critical role in preparing the next generation of communicators to lead with purpose, ethics and strategic thinking, and these leaders are stepping forward at exactly the right time. Their voices, ideas and leadership will help shape not only PRSSA, but the future of public relations. The future of our profession is in very capable hands,” said Heide Harrell, M.A., APR.

- Vice President of Digital Communications: Diana Hernandez, Waynesburg University
- Vice President, Events and Fundraising: Sydney Roberts, DePaul University
- Vice President of Member Services: Mackenzie Smith, The Ohio State University
- Vice President of Professional Standards: Magali Lola Corrales, Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE)
- Immediate Past President: Alicia Caracciolo, University of South Carolina
In addition to International Committee elections, Katie Thomas, APR has been re-elected to a two-year term (2026-2028) as the National Professional Adviser beginning on June 1. In this role, Thomas will counsel the international officers, support the chartering of new PRSSA Chapters, and contribute to various initiatives, including serving on subcommittees and participating in regular virtual meetings with Professional Advisers for Chapters throughout the student Society.
