Renewable energy investment company, Thrive Renewables plc, has formed a strategic joint venture with the UK’s leading social impact investor, Better Society Capital, to mobilise £40 million for community-owned wind and solar projects across the UK. Zenobē, the UK’s leading owner and operator of grid-scale batteries on the GB transmission network, has announced that Europe’s largest battery site, located in Blackhillock, Scotland, has begun commercial operations today.
