To mark Zero Waste Week BerryWorld have launched a food waste awareness campaign to call attention to the importance of cutting down waste, and celebrate their latest milestone – delivering 400 thousand meals’ worth of fruit to FareShare.

Since the beginning of the partnership in 2020, BerryWorld and its growers have been diverting fresh berries to FareShare, which the food charity have delivered to charities supporting vulnerable people across the UK.
Last Christmas, BerryWorld launched a campaign to ‘share the berry goodness’, raising over £5,700 for FareShare. Now, to mark Zero Waste Week in the UK, the berry supplier is running a campaign on their BerryWorld brand range, available at Ocado, to celebrate their longstanding partnership with FareShare.

BerryWorld growers responded quickly in embedding FareShare into their operations, successfully diverting unharvested fruit to those in need.”
