UK falls out of top 20 most generous countries in the world

The UK is no longer one of the most generous countries in the world, according to the Charities Aid Foundation’s World Giving Index 2024. It now places 22nd in the global index, its joint lowest ranking, having fallen to the same level it was in 2020 when charitable activity was severely limited by the Covid 19 pandemic. Mencap aims to create over 50 apprenticeships in a new Data Academy

Mencap has launched a new training and development offer for its staff through a Data Academy, creating over 50 apprenticeships, including up to degree level. Starting in September, the training is being delivered by Multiverse, a tech company delivering high-quality training through applied learning.
