Charity Virtual Event Awards 2023

The Charity Virtual Event Awards returns for its fourth year to celebrate the power of online events.

Nominate your charity before September 30th, 2023, 5pm BST.

Nominate your event or campaign to be crowned 2023’s winner – winning charities will receive a €1,000 donation and an annual pass to Fundraising Everywhere’s training membership for the team behind the winning campaign.

 
 

 

Categories

1. Best Innovation in Virtual Events

The charity that saw something that worked (or didn’t) and made changes or improvements to take it to the next level.

What makes a winning campaign? Hear from previous winner, Clear Path UK.

2. Best Virtual Fundraising Event

The online fundraiser that smashed all targets or expectations.

What makes a winning campaign? Hear from previous winner, St. Catherines Hospice.

3. Best Virtual Non-Fundraising Event

It’s not just the fundraising campaigns that bring in the cash, stewardship events and conferences can build long-term relationships that get long-term results.

4. Stewardship

How has your charity used digital and online resources to build strong relationships and maximise opportunities?

5. People’s Choice

All of the category finalists will be open for public voting to choose the ‘People’s Choice’ winner.

Important Dates For Your Diary

July: Nominations open for all registered charities in the world
September 30th at 5pm BST: Nominations close and go to judges for shortlist
October 9th – 18th: All shortlisted charities are open for public voting
October 19th 6pm – 7pm (UK/IRE): Winners announced at the live virtual ceremony

All nominees and those who nominated them are automatically registered to attend the award

A virtual event that’s been hosted by a registered charity,

  • between August 2022 – 2023
  • anywhere in the world
  • of any size
