During this year’s virtual-format event, the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) named McCann Worldgroup Mexico the “2020 Agency of the Year”. MW Mexico was also recognized with the “Best in Show” award during the ceremony.
Chevrolet also received the “Diversity & Inclusion” and “Marketer of the Year” awards, as a result of the collaboration between the Commonwealth and McCann creative teams.
While announcing the main award of the night, Gabriel Richaud, IAB Mexico’s Managing Director, stressed the high level of effort and talent showcased by the winning agency.
Luis Machorro, CEO of McCann Mexico, stated that “this type of recognition leaves a particular kind of aftertaste. It shows our drive to continue to evolve in increasingly complex scenarios. We are extremely pleased about Chevrolet’s success because it proves our ability to help brands play a meaningful role in people’s lives within the digital sphere”.
Earlier this year, MW Mexico also obtained the highest number of wins for Chevrolet at the Círculo de Oro festival.
