Each year thousands of lives are lost in motor vehicle crashes. We know what could have been done to prevent many of these tragic deaths, but we can’t assume that everyone else does.
National Foundation for Teen Safe Driving will formally kick off So Let’s Do This at a scheduled press conference at the 2019 NADA Show in San Francisco. This unique safety initiative, with the might of franchised dealers from across the country, will deliver important messages with strong calls to action at critical times throughout the year.
“Dealers take great pride in the contributions they make in their local communities; however, most consumers are unaware of their community activity,” said Roy Bavaro, NFTSD executive director. “So Let’s Do This is a unified call to action that will amplify dealer voices and broadcast their support of important safety initiatives locally and nation-wide.”
NFTSD willlead and manage this targeted nation-wide awareness initiative and call to action, and provide participating dealers with campaign assets, instruction and guidance. Participating dealers will support the campaign objectives by integrating prepared safety messages into their marketing and customer communications.
“NADA has long supported smart, engaging and forward-thinking safety initiatives, and this program reflects those concepts,” said Peter Welch, NADA President. “National Foundation for Teen Safe Driving should be commended for working to get even more franchised dealers involved in promoting safety within their own communities.”
