National Women’s History Museum and Omaze Make Women’s History Matter

What do Ana Ortiz, Brianna Brown, Cindi Leive, Jackie Cruz, Jade Tailor, Jamie King, Kate Walsh, Keala Settle, Lisa Ling, Susan Lucci and Yvette Brown have in common?

These talented actors and journalists have teamed up with the National Women’s History Museum to launch their History Maker t-shirt campaign with the fundraising platform Omaze. Proceeds support the National Women’s History Museum’s efforts to educate, inspire, empower and shape the future by integrating women’s distinctive stories into our nation’s culture and history.

“Our nation’s greatest successes rest on American women’s shoulders, and it’s time to acknowledge their active roles in our history—the roles our grandmothers, mothers, aunts, granddaughters, daughters and nieces play in the workplace, community, and home,” says National Women’s History Museum Board Chair Susan D. Whiting. “We hope the Omaze campaign will help us bring to life a National Women’s History Museum where visitors can expand their understanding of women’s roles and leave with a more complete view of American history.”
