The National Safety Council awarded 50 organizations with the 2025 Industry Leader Awards for outstanding safety performance within their industries, up from 35 organizations in 2024.
The Industry Leader Awards are a part of the NSC Occupational Awards Program, which recognizes exceptional safety achievements of NSC members. Award recipients represent the top 5% of member companies that qualified for the NSC 2025 Occupational Excellence Achievement Award, based on 2024 calendar year data.
Winners are selected based on the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes, lowest total incidence rates and employee work hours within their industry categories.
“These organizations have established themselves as the frontrunners of safety in their respective industries,” said Kristin Witters, director of membership at NSC. “Congratulations to this year’s recipients who continue to set the standard in protecting their employees from preventable workplace injuries.”
