The Global Alliance for PR and Communication Management will lead the world in celebrating Global PR and Communications Month during October. During the month, 78 member organisations will join together to showcase and celebrate the critical work being done by public relations and communications professionals around the globe.
“During the last 18 months, the world has experienced disruptions unlike most of us have seen in our lifetime. The importance of public relations and communication has elevated as our industry professionals lead impactful conversations from the United Nations to living rooms,” said Global Alliance President and CEO Justin Green. “We are beyond the prior misconceptions where the profession was thought of as merely a cost center in organisations. The world has come to recognize public relations and communications professionals as critical value drivers.”
In October, Global Alliance members, representing more than 320,000 professionals from 126 countries, will come together to have one voice for professional advocacy. Throughout the month, Global Alliance members will showcase the accomplishments of these professionals and recognize research, curriculums, and certification programs that help public relations and communications professionals play key roles in their organisations.
