Pip & Nut Founder Pippa Murray Joins B Lab UK Board Of Trustees To Further Champion Business As A Force For Good

 Pip & Nut – the award-winning nut butter brand – is proud to announce the appointment of its founder, Pip Murray, as a Trustee of B Lab UK, a non-profit network transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities and the planet. 

Pip Murray has been a vocal advocate of ethical sourcing and better business practice since she founded Pip & Nut in 2015. The B Lab UK Trustee appointment marks her continued commitment to rigorous standards of social and environmental business performance, transparency and accountability. 

In her role as trustee, Pip will work alongside the board’s other 2023 appointments – Nicola Clark OBE (CEO of UMi) George King IV (a senior investment professional), and Thom Kenrick (seasoned charity trustee and expert in human rights and sustainability) – to help realise the potential of B Corp business across the UK and work towards B Lab’s mission of an inclusive, regenerative and equitable economy.

B Lab is the organisation behind the B Corp Certification, a rigorous assessment that evaluates a company’s impact on its workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. As the only certified B Corp peanut butter in the category, Pip’s experience in building a successful business that puts people and planet first** will add a fresh perspective to diversify the movement, ultimately driving systemic change. 

In addition to better business governance, Pip’s role will drive continuous improvement for the community through community collaboration groups, peer learning, ambassadorship and external event speaking.
