Pride AM Makeover competition deadline extended to 26th October

Pride AM have extended the chance to enters this years Makeover competition.:

A host of heavy hitters and well-known names from the world of advertising and marketing have joined the judging of this year’s Pride Brand Makeover. The PrideAM competition, which was launched from the Google Beach at Cannes in June, promises to be even more spectacular than last year’s extravaganza. More details and entry forms are here.

In the impressive line-up, and ready to share their insights and expertise in the judging room, include the Advertising Association’s CEO, Stephen Woodford, Chief Creative Officer at Leo Burnett London, Chaka Sobhani, Chief Strategy Officer for McCann Worldgroup EMEA, Harjot Singh, and James Bates, Marketing Planning and Strategy guru for John Lewis.

There’s been an amazing response to this year’s competition, and many of you have been asking for more time. So – here it is! We’ve extended the entry deadline to 5pm on Friday 26th October.

Everything about these awards is designed to make them easy: free to enter; the work doesn’t have to run; no need for finished work; a free party to celebrate the best work. And can you believe there’s a £100,000 media prize up for grabs too? Generously donated by Gay Times.

So what are you waiting for? If you need any help getting your entry over the line, just shout. We’re all volunteers, but we’ll do whatever we can to support you.

Meanwhile, here’s a few FAQs we’ve picked up over the past couple of weeks:

Does the work have to have run? No.

What if the work HAS run? That’s fine too.

Can I enter below-the-line work? Yes. You can enter anything.

I’m a member of PrideAM can I enter? Yes, everyone can enter. We’ve got a stellar independent jury.

I don’t have a YouTube film, can I enter? Yes. You can submit your entry as a written idea. Scamps. Roughs. Anything that you think best communicates your LGBT+ make-over.

I work for a PR agency. Can we enter? Yes. Anyone can enter.

I work for a brand. Can we enter? Yes. We encourage entries from across the marketing and advertising spectrum.

I work outside the UK. Can I enter? Yes. This year we welcome entries from across the world.
