Scottish Fundraising Adjudication Panel launches new brand, website and Fundraising Guarantee logo

Scottish Fundraising Standards Panel has become Scottish Fundraising Adjudication Panel with new branding and a redesigned website. They believe this opportunity will allow them to become more focused on increasing our engagement with the public, and working more closely with Scottish charities, of all sizes, to improve fundraising standards.

Since their inception in 2016 the Panel has had two core functions (i) to oversee fundraising standards in Scotland; and (ii) to oversee fundraising complaints. They chose to rebrand to the Scottish Fundraising Adjudication Panel to better reflect the Panel’s purpose.

The Panel worked with Edinburgh based creative consultants, Lewis to create our new identity and brand. The new logo features a unique icon to represent the Panel’s functions in adjudicating complainants and upholding fundraising standards in Scotland.

They worked with digital marketing agency, Crunchy Carrots, to redesign the www.goodfundraising.scot. The website features improved functionality for charities through the introduction of the member’s area where charities registered for the Good Fundraising Guarantee can access resources. In addition to ensuring the website remains easy to navigate and uses clear language, we also improved our complaints submission process.

One of the important goals of the rebrand was to modernise and improve the assets they are able offer to Good Fundraising Guarantee holders.

They wanted the Good Fundraising Guarantee to:
• be available in a range of colours so that charities can easily use the logo on light or dark backgrounds.
• be available to charities in a range of file formats so that the assets are higher quality and suitable for use online and in print.
• fit alongside other logos used throughout the sector
