FareShare awarded $75k grant from Cisco Foundation for FARE Allocation Project

FareShare has been awarded with a $75k grant from Cisco Foundation Regional Grants for its FARE Allocation Project. The FARE Allocation Project is designed to make our food distribution more equitable and more aligned with the geographical distribution of poverty and other indicators of deprivation across the UK. Young football fans lost to sudden cardiac death remembered in murals unveiled across the UK

Twelve powerful murals have been unveiled to highlight the tragic reality that 12 young people under the age of 35 are lost every week to sudden cardiac death in the UK. In time with June’s UEFA Euro 2024 kick-off, each painting commemorates a talented young footballer or fan who died too soon. Several of the artworks feature the emotive message ‘Til I Died’. Dell Technologies Management Challenge 2024 breaks fundraising record

Twenty teams took part in this year’s Dell Technologies Management Challenge, raising more than £70,000 for charity – the highest total in the event’s history. Based out of Raquety Farm, Hay-on-Wye, between 6-8 June, teams mountain biked, hiked and ran through the stunning surroundings of Bannau Brycheiniog / Brecon Beacons National Park, while testing their map reading, communication and team working skills.
